  Summary

IT Security graduate, ambitious CTF competitor, security conference goer, avid programmer, sports enthusiast, and a traveler who isn’t afraid of stepping out of my comfort zone to take on new challenges and adventures.

  Skills

Google dorks
Leveraging the power and flexibility of Google Search operators has helped me become much more resourceful in my pursuit of knowledge.

Pythonista
Python has always been a joy. I have a ways to go before truly mastering it, but I feel fluent enough to tackle pretty much anything, from automation to ML to networking and hacking.

Front-End
More nice-to-have than eager-to-show-off, but a skill nonetheless. This page proves that given enough time/motivation I'm able to conjure some spells and spit out decent-looking web pages.

Linux
The shell is essentially my home on any non-Windows. Leveraging the command line has made me much more efficient, and indeed I have plans for Powershell.

Not Emacs
Vim has been my editor of choice for several years now, and is yet another tool that propelled my productivity leaps and bounds.

C / C++
The C language family continues to help expand my knowledge in the field of IT security, systems design, assembly, and a wealth of related topics.

Rust
A challenging and rewarding cyber endeavour, I crash course'd Rust in summer of 2019 and put it to use by solving a cryptographic CTF problem.

PHP
Though not my favourite, I learned PHP on the job by building a web platform for my university's Ethical Hacker Society back in October 2017.

Git Gud
Having incorporated it into many projects and university assignments, I feel quite comfortable working with Git and am willing to explore other DVCS.

Docker
Tremendous for understanding Linux containerisation and to host a wealth of software without carrying the bulk of a VM. I use it often, and have contributed an image as well.

Reversing
I feel fairly competent in using disassemblers and debuggers like gdb (the fish logo), radare2, Ghidra, and higher level ones like "dis" in Python and the JS debugger in modern browsers.

' or 1 = 1
While deliberating a career in hospitality management, I explored the infosec scene through online forums and IRC chat rooms. From cracking my own Wi-Fi password to dabbling in Metasploit on BackTrack Linux in 2013, my genuine interest grew stronger and continues to this day.

Tororist
I support the notion of decentralised networking like the Tor Project.

  Interests

When I’m not hyper-focused on meeting deadlines, I enjoy baking pizzas, concocting desserts, filming nature, reading non-fiction, streaming (highly audience-rated on Rotten Tomatoes) movies, listening to music or a podcast, doing some calisthenics, playing sports whenever an opportunity arises (tennis, football, swimming, skiing, and others) and indulging in the occasional video game.

One of my greatest pleasures in life has been the joy of travelling, having visited over 33 countries. As I continue to develop career-wise and in my personal life, I aspire to eventually venture around the entire globe.
